Congrats on an incredible feat of endurance and skill. While the individual male and female records will eventually fall, the trend in endurance athletics make that almost inevitable, I think that co-ed record has a good chance of longevity. The probability of failure is more than doubled with two participants, and simply finding two people that can compete for a 14er FKT (already a 1-in-a-million athlete) that can stand each other and want to compete together is a rare combination. I look forward to the podcasts, documentary, and trip report!

Congrats Andrew and Andrea! Fun running into you at Sneffels a few weeks back. Glad your coed plan came to fruition.

Congrats A&A, a big job well done. You are inspiring to all of us.

My apologies for hit and miss stats. Travelling, compounded by a hurricane, challenged this dinosaur. Here are my estimates of distance/elevation. Times are based on Andrea's Garmin.

minor corrections: They came down Sherman on the Four Mile Creek side, not Iowa Creek.

Unbelievable effort! Congratulations! What stands out most is despite everything that went wrong, or didn’t go to plan, you guys kept going. The mental fortitude you both have to push through is incredible- great job. We are all inspired.

Andrea and Andrew: I've not had a moment until to jump in and add my congratulations on the completion of this effort to all of those congratulations here and elsewhere already - what a journey to follow, as all of these 14er FKT attempts are, but with the added bonus of both of you starting together, staying together, and finishing together! I can('t) wait for the stories to come out from this one once you have had a chance to recover - whenever those come I'll be watching/reading/listening! And bravo to your super-crew out there supporting you for some or all of those 12+ days as well!

Congratulations, absolutely amazing epic adventure. Hope you guys will have a talk about it like when Dan set the self supported record a couple of years ago.

I may be wrong about this, but:

In 2000, Teddy Kaiser (aka CaveDog) set the overall 14ers FKT at 10 days, 20 hours, 26 minutes.
Andrew broke that record and the 10 day barrier several years ago.
Besides those 2 efforts, has anyone ever done the 14ers faster than A & A did this time?
My memory is that several people have tried since Andrew's FKT, but that they all ended up abandoning for one reason or another (as opposed to slowing down and finishing in 10-12 days).
Am I right? Third fastest time ever?

That is also what myself and others I have talked to have concluded. These guys are amazing.
