Re: 2025 partners
Similar to lots of folks here - everything left for me is difficult, remote, or both. I'm finding that most of the people I've hiked with before are unwilling or unable to venture on to climb what I have left. For this year, I'm hoping for the Bells and Crestone Peak in late July/early August, Capitol over Labor Day, and Little Bear sometime after Labor Day. I'm admittedly middle-aged, but will have good fitness for all - I'll alpine ski through March, mountain bike and road cycle after that, and hike enough to finish a 50 mile ultra with some friends in mid-Sept. I live in Ken Caryl and would be interested in connecting.

Re: 2025 partners
Similar story - everything left for me is a little more difficult or remote. I'm very interested in joining up with some others. I've got the Wilson Group, Blanca group, Elks, Crestones and Kit Carson on my list, in no particular order.
I'm pretty flexible on dates, mid-week can work for me as easily as weekends. I'm retired but stay in good shape.... I did 13 14ers last year and a couple of 13ers. I'm in Black Forest / Colorado Springs.

Re: 2025 partners
I will throw this out there with specific dates if anyone is interested.
Crestone Peak from S. Colony Lakes July 8-9.
Challenger & Kit July 11-12.
Little Bear (hourglass) July 17-18.
El Diente July 30 (we are packing in to Kilpacker, but you wouldn't have to since it is only 3 easy miles). Or my nephew (53 down, 5 to go) could use a partner on Big Wilson. We are going to the turnoff at 12600 together, but it would be great for one of us to have a partner for the entire climb.
Sneffels July 31 with my nephew (I have already done it and will need a rest day right after El Diente).
Wilson Peak August 1 (RofA trailhead).
If any of those work well for anyone with the requisite experience for them, feel free to shoot me a PM.
MMGarity, I sent you a PM.

Re: 2025 partners
This is a bit my crowd as well. I'm looking to do some more difficult, remote peaks. Especially the Blanca group (incl. Little Bear and Ellingwood). Also, fun and challenging 13ers. I'll keep following this group here. I'm in Boulder, and this summer I'll be able to do some weekdays, but also Friday/Saturday or Sunday/Monday combos work great.
One's 13er list should be longer than one's 14er list. There are like 10x more of them afterall. (Barely keeping up on this, but very aware of it.)

Throwing my name in the hat too. Also a NoCo guy (fort collins) looking to get after fun local peaks in the RMNP, never summers, and Indian peaks as well as the harder 14ers. I'll send DMs to some of you on here but feel free to reach out to me! I'm also off on Fridays to chase after peaks

Re: 2025 partners
I see there are a few people who have the Wilson group in mind this year so I will throw my hat in the ring. I have already booked my dates to make sure I could get lodging. I am a flatlander who is a bit old and a bit slow so keep that in mind. I don't have much flexibility with these dates but if one of them works for you, let me know.
Tentative Dates
- Sunday, Aug 17: Vermillion Peak
- Monday or Tuesday, Aug 18 or 19: Mt Sneffels Southwest Ridge
- Thursday, Aug 21: Wilson Peak (and possibly Gladstone Peak w/ Alpine Start and good weather)
- Friday or Saturday, Aug 22 or 23: El Diente and Mt Wilson Traverse
- Tuesday, Aug 26: Holy Cross Halo Route

Re: 2025 partners
I am not the world’s strongest climber…yet…, but I would LOVE to join. I am a flatlander who left my husband last year and after coming to CO and losing myself in the mountains shortly after, I crave it and think about it all the time. Anyone wanting a partner to climb with, let me know. I can fly in and make it happen. I’m in relatively good shape for someone without proximity to what you all have in your backyard..Hope you all know how lucky you are!

Was seeing if anyone was going to try and climb jagged mountain this summer? Looking for a partner/s for this climb. Let me know if your interested in this? Thanks Mark!

Re: 2025 partners
Howdy! I guess I will join the summer plans thread as well.
I'm getting married in late July, so there will be a window where I will be out for a different kind of adventure.
The remaining "hard" peaks that I have are The Crestones, both Bells, and Snowmass. I'm planning on getting some parking and/or camping permits for the Elks around Labor Day weekend once the reservation window opens. I also have to do Lindsey, and I've signed the waiver to climb this year at some point.
I'm pretty comfortable on class 3/4 so anything in the remaining peaks I'm ready for. I would not opt to do the Bells traverse when the time comes, but would consider the Crestones traverse if I had someone who is familiar with the way. (Did the El D/Wilson traverse last season without issue) I'd honestly rather go up the Needle first to familiarize myself with the correct gully. Snowmass I'm still not sure what to do since I'm not experienced with crampons, but I recently summited a completely snowy Culebra in microspikes with high confidence. I've heard the East slopes in the summer are possible, but I'm unfamiliar if there's a good way to get through the boulder field. The alternate route seems a bit unproven and loose, but if folks are using it without too much trouble that might be another option.
Not sure if I'll finish this season but it would be great to get the hard ones closed out so my soon-to-be wife and I have a comfortable class 2 to finish on.
Let me know if anyone else has similar goals!
