I cannot help but be impressed. It is nice to be glued to this site for something other than a rescue or recovery. Congratulations for getting this far. It sounds like the right decision was made to stop.

Mind Boggling in the time frame accomplished! Andrew thank you for resetting the reference level for us mere mortals. You have inspired so many =D> . I hope your recovery is fast and you are back out in the mountains soon, where you are obviously at home.

Who's writing the script? Someone should make a trailer complete with the deep voiced narrator. High in the mountains of Colorado...... The high point for me and I'm sure almost everyone was the Bells. The lack of movement and the injury message was knot in the stomach. My wife who has no care for the climbing world was all over this. She kept asking how you were. She wanted you to set a new record but come home to your family alive and whole. When I'm sure most of us thought it was over came the right turn up Pyramid. Cue the hero music. As others have said, Top Gun works here. Thank you for letting us in your life and your journey. Get well and hug and kiss your wife and kids. They are your true prize. I don't know you or your wife, but your wife is a beast. She emotionally endured all your physical pain. She's an awesome wingman.

I'm hoping Stefan has time to write something about his time helping out with the Quest.

Andrew, Homie, and Cave Dog-

That's one mighty fraternity you've established. The record appears to be at the edge of what is humanly possible, and only the best of the best need contemplate the quest. And kudos for exemplifying the ideal that one can be great without being arrogant.

A great effort, Andrew, I hope your recovery from compartment syndrome is rapid.

I have the utmost respect for Andrew. It was a great honor to crew for him. Watching the man go through the Rockies made it crystal clear that he is the toughest person I have ever met.
It took ten hours most of which was sleep for the conversation about not if but when he can go out and try it again. So if you think the record is safe trust me I know of three people who are in the planning stages right now. I think the next year will be full of action and drama. It's hard staying out of the mountains.

Also just a huge heartfelt thank you from Andrew, his family, and all of us on the crew we really appreciate the support and kind words. So until our next attempt keep climbing and I personally can't wait to meet you all out on the trails!
Stay safe and stay fast

That was one exciting week on this website! Whether it is 58 peaks or 48 peaks does not diminish the accomplishment at all! Heal and rest up Andrew and team, you have earned it!
Climb the mountain so you can see the world, not so the world can see you.
