I just did Pine Valley today for first time - climbed that half burnt one on the right up there - I think it needs a trip report actually. clever title already lined up people.

This is from yesterday halfway across the top of green mtn. But with solstice nigh - note the suns path to the right. I've deduced that solstice sees it setting just behind the summit mound there. Our own little season marker.

yes good bump. I forgot about this thread. I am still a pano enthusiast for sure.


Took Raleigh peak from the 'wrong way' thru the burn scar and that produced some unique looks:

that's raleigh left and long scrag right in both. and don't forget - raleigh was birthplace of the modern pano era for me - where i accidentally discovered i had that in my camera!
