6/15/2024 Route: Echo Lake Posted On: 6/15/2024, By: dwoodward13 Info: Incredibly nice loop from Echo Lake. A great way to "earn" these peaks vs just getting them from Summit Lake. From Echo Lake, took the Chicago Lakes trail to Summit Lake. 2 minor snow patches near upper Chicago Lake but pretty inconsequential, no traction needed. No snow anywhere else on route. From Summit Lake, took the SW ridge up to Warren. Continued running the ridge over to Rodgers. Continued onwards on the ridge, bypassing a couple outcroppings on the left to reach the upper ending of the Goliath Trail. Took that down to the Goliath visitors center. Walked the road about a half mile to the hairpin turn. Dropped off into the forest aiming for the Resthouse Meadows trail. Bushwacking in here was not bad at all, mostly open forest with plenty of game trails. Highly recommend this over walking the road the whole way back. Took Resthouse back to Echo Lake. Logged ~13 miles, ~4k vert |

7/3/2023 Route: Summit Lake - Combo with Rogers Posted On: 7/3/2023, By: sarahmariekirk Info: This 13er was quick, easy and fun - my dog and I took the ridge direct which was a fun scramble up to the summit and a lot more exciting than I had originally thought! Only one other person out there today on this route and he opted for the more chill tundra walk-up, but if you decide on this peak, I highly recommend the scramble up to the summit! Super fun. I had to assist my dog in a few spots but he did great and its just nice to be in the mountains, with no one around. Saw some goats today, a hare and a few marmots, and watched the hordes ascend Mount Evans. Climbed this with Rogers Peak, for a total of only 4.5 miles and 1500ft of elevation gain. |

10/20/2021 Route: Summit Lake Posted On: 10/20/2021, By: blazintoes Info: Do you like benign masochism? Grab a bike and pedal up to the lake then beeline up the easiest 13er on the planet. It's nice having the road and mountains all to yourself. Not as much snow as anticipated. One small stretch at mile 6 that even a roadie could manage. Finally finished my Evans quad with this quickie. Back to the books |

6/19/2021 Route: Summit L Posted On: 6/19/2021, By: denvermikey Info: Summer conditions. Would have to go out of your way to step in snow. Although no trail, straightforward hike over Warren/Rogers from Summit Lake. Easy peasy. |

6/4/2020 Route: Chicago Lakes Posted On: 6/4/2020, By: MC.Ikema Info: No traction carried and wouldn't have used if carried. Ascended via Chicago Lakes and descended via the rige/road back to Echo Lake. |

8/7/2019 Route: Summit Lake Posted On: 8/7/2019, By: ilikereds Info: I set out with Mt. Warren and Rogers peak in mind. Ended up only getting Warren. Zero issues and took very little time. I started at Summit Lake and was back to the car in an hour. Actually went farther that the summit of Warren, trekking towards Rogers to take a look. Ultimately decided not today due to the fact my wife was waiting for me and wasn't feeling well. I know this isn't exactly everyone's idea of a summit as the elevation gain is only 500', but I just enjoy being on the mountains and exploring places I haven't done yet. |

7/4/2019 Route: Echo Lake/Rogers Pk Posted On: 7/4/2019, By: HikerGuy Info: Bone dry. Started at Echo Lake and worked my way up to treeline, easy to find a path with little understory and using game trails. Made a beeline to Goliath Peak then on to Rogers and Warren. Skirted Rogers on the way back, but it would probably be easier to reascend. |

10/27/2016 Route: Echo Lake Loop Posted On: 10/29/2016, By: JasonKline Info: Echo Lake -> Goliath -> Rogers -> Warren -> Spalding -> Gray Wolf -> Echo Lake loop almost entirely clear. The small amount of snow was easily avoidable. |

6/11/2014 Route: via spalding Posted On: 6/12/2014, By: lafutura Info: snow fields at the top required careful footing but no traction devices needed. |
