7/18/2021 Route: From Twin Lakes & Eolus Trail Posted On: 7/21/2021, By: supranihilest Info: From Twin Lakes we took the trail to Mount Eolus/North Eolus until we were up at a large flat-ish spot below the 14ers. The trail is easy to follow until the upper part where it crosses some wet slabs, but even this section is generally obvious since you can't really go anywhere else. The remaining route to Glacier Point is obvious from here. Go down granite gravel to the saddle between Glacier Point and North Eolus, cross Glacier Point's south face on somewhat of a trail through the gravel, then scramble up the Class 2+ southeast ridge to the summit. The scramble is easy but covered in gravel. Exposure is minimal. |
