10/12/2024 Route: from pitkin trail Posted On: 10/12/2024, By: Laxer04 Info: Summer conditions. We started at Pitkin Lake TH, went over the pass above pitkin lake and on to Q and R. We saw two bears, a mother and her cub in the valley between the partner peaks and peak q/r. summit register is in great shape. ~18 miles 9k of vert for both peaks. Bunch of regain on the way out |

8/20/2024 Route: N face ledge Posted On: 8/21/2024, By: SnowAlien Info: Approached from the Pitkin drainage. Plenty of water sources to refill water bottles, including some snow patches. Steep passes off Partners ridge are passable in both directions. Register in good shape, not many entries. Mosquitos are tame, wildflowers still blooming. We took the steep grassy upper ramp on R face, it pinches down in a spot or too, some water on the ledge after recent rains. |
