Quandary Trailhead

?PARKING ISSUE
From June 14 to September 14, a reservation is required to park at the Quandary Peak trailhead. There are a small number of spots and the cost is $30 - $55. Your other option is the Quandary shuttle service, provided by Breckenridge. It's $7, runs 5:00am - 5:00pm 7 days a week, and your reservation allows you to board the shuttles any time throughout the day. To purchase trailhead parking or a shuttle ride, visit HikeQuandary.com. Before and after the reservation-required date range, reservations are not required for the Quandary trailhead.

Info: As is usual this time of year, the road to the trailhead (851) is snowcovered and undrivable, but you can park on 850 right near the turn. Unlike most years, there is home constructiong going on RIGHT across from the usual parking area, so please be mindful of parking and blocking the road in case there‘s construction equipment there, too.

Narrow section of ridge is showing talus, probably won‘t be able to ski thru by this weekend. Slushy and rough snow below 12,800.
