Running Wild Basin: Chiefs Head to Tanima
I was able to enjoy an awesome solo day out in RMNP with a jaunt up Chiefs Head, Alice, and Tanima Peak this past weekend. Great route in a spectacular setting. See below for a link to the TR for anyone interested - thanks!

They should change the name of the hourglass to the looking glass. Then you could go to Alice through the looking glass.

Solid day

Did Alice on Wed via Hourglass. Grand Boulder pass looked like it was gonna require a steep snow descent from the ridge so we were considering the east ridge on Tanima instead. Ended up finding a gully to get down to Lake of Many Winds, but now I kinda wish we'd done the ridge, looks fun (edited to add, the ridge looks fun, not the descent).

Thanks for the TR.
