Our unguided group of three reached the summit of Mt. Rainier on Saturday, July 29th, 2017 via the Disappointment Cleaver route . Just threw together a quick Gopro video that will hopefully help someone who wants to see what this route is all about. One of my favorite mountains and truly unlike anything we have here in Colorado. If anyone has any questions regarding literary, gear, or training feel free to ask! After doing this route guided first (weathered off), I can honestly say that, if you have the right skills, unguided is the way to go on this mountain. I will also include the link to our pictures if anyone is interested (just ignore any selfies that might have made their way into that album)! Enjoy!
