 Perfect day on Quandary
Today's climb was our 8 year old twin daughters' first 14er and the weather was perfect. We were worried about the snow cover. We could see a lot of snow on the ridge but couldn't tell how much of the trail was covered. Turned out fine. Ones short snowy spot just above tree line and then the summit push was all snow, but passable. Being a Saturday and beautiful weather, there were a lot of people. Still not sure why folks think its ok to just wander off trail up high.

so, completely passable and an ice axe makes for some great glissading on the descent.
