Hi all,
Looking to join a team (or find a partner or two) to climb Denali via the West Buttress this coming season. My preference would be an early May or early June start (I have a conference I need to attend at the end of May) with a tentative 3 week schedule (somewhat flexible). I'm a 32 year old male with no prior high altitude experience (red flag - I know), so teaming up with someone who has previous experience would be highly desirable! I've been climbing rock for the past 5 years and ice for the past 3 years with numerous forays into the backcountry during both summer and winter months (including some solo trips).
Crevasse rescue is a minimum, backcountry awareness would be preferred.
Feel free to contact me - ellessch84@gmail.com and we can take it from there...
Any advice is also welcome!
PS. Not interested in joining a guided expedition at this moment
