I've always worried about that kind of stuff. My cuddle buddy when sleeping alone in my car at the trailhead has always been a .40

This is effing insane. I sleep near that TH in my car in summer and at the TH in winter all the time. Crazy!

Seems like it happened one time, and they were caught.

You can go back to worrying about being eaten by a mountain lion. Or marmot. Or porcupine. Or Moose.

Or you can sleep on your gun and hope you don't shoot yourself when the porky shows up and is chewing on the wiring harness under your car.
