What's the mosquito situation at Capitol peak?
I'm doing Capitol Peak for the first time this weekend. If the mosquitos are anywhere near as bad as Mt of the Holy Cross, I want to be prepared. Does anyone know what I am getting into?

Re: What's the mosquito situation at Capitol peak?
I hiked Capital Gulch trail on Sunday. The wooded sections of the trail were pretty miserable because of mosquitos if you were standing still or near water. I had lightly done bug spray on exposed skin and parts of my clothes. All of the bites I'm currently scratching were through the un-sprayed clothing. You will not regret any precautions you take before hand to prevent bites!
