All,
My name is James Wagenschutz and I live in Boulder County. I'm headed to attempt several 14'ers in the Elk/Aspen area from July 28-Aug 1. I've done many 14'ers, feel confident in the high country, and can route find pretty well. My fitness level is decent although I haven't been to altitude yet much this year (above 11K)....although historically, it has not been an issue for me. I can moderate my hiking pace although I'm not slow.
I'm looking to meet up with folks in the area or planning on any of the Elk 14ers....Pyramid, Capitol, Maroon Bells, Castle, Conundrum, etc.

Are you on Facebook at all? There is a group of about 700 of us who have summited at least 30 13ers and/or 14ers (that's the only pre-req to join!) and are on the back-half of completing the full list. The purpose of the group is to find partners for the peaks we all have left. If you're interested, shoot me a PM and I can send you an invite. The group is really active and helpful in connecting people looking for peak partners!
