2025 partners

Post by PJ88 »

I know this is very early, but I wanted to gauge interest in teaming up for a number of peaks in summer of 2025. Much of the 14ers I have left are on the more difficult end of the scale and I know many will want to hike something easier with me or at least meet up before agreeing to some of these.

If the Lindsey owners open up access I will be focusing on Lindsey, Crestone Needle, and Little Bear.

If not, I have Crestone Needle, the Wilson group (probably focusing on Mount Wilson and El Diente), and one of the Bells or Pyramid on my shortlist.

In the meantime I will be focusing on 13ers in the Front Range, Mosquito, 10 Mile, and Sawatch.

Of course, I am open to others if the opportunity comes up. June will be pretty touch and go availability wise with a family vacation and a wedding planned but otherwise I should be free this summer.

Cheers!

Hello!

I would be interested in connecting for some of your peaks. I’m hoping to attempt Little Bear again this spring (April/May) and N Maroon after that before the end of July. Hoping to finish in July. Please send me a PM if interested in connecting. I live in Littleton.

I am planning the el diente - Wilson sometime in early July. I’m planning to do this solo but would certainly prefer a partner if anyone is interested!

Not really a winter climber. Sorry. Have fun while you're up there!

I also had the thought for a similar post recently. Most of my remaining 14ers are either difficult or farther away from Denver, and last summer got away from me without knocking out any tough ones. Shortlist includes Pyramid & Maroon, Crestone Needle, and the Wilson Group. Would also consider Little Bear outside of peak season.

Let me know if you would be interested in partnering for any of those. I don't know how far I would go outside of peak season for Little Bear, but I would probably be able to push it to a weekday to make it less busy. Not opposed to super early starts either.

Hi.
I am also looking for partners for some of the harder ones I have left. Im at 49 right now and would like a partner for Capital, Bells, Pyramid, Little Bear, Crestone Needle. I just moved back to Colorado living in Estes. For the past three years I have been thru hiking the Appalachian Trail, PCT, CT, and Ta. I have done most of the 14ers solo but I would like some company on these harder ones.

Thanks,
Eric D.

Figured I'd throw my hat in the ring...kind of cool to what names are NoCo folk. I'm in Loveland. Spend the winter and spring chasing Larimer County and RMNP peaks. Come late spring, the 13er season gets going through late fall. Hoping to do some fun couloirs this year and some lengthy backpacking trips to get the remote ones. I'll keep this feed in mind when we put something on the calendar. Just starting to learn to climb with ropes. Have rappelled plenty, and always happy to belay and watch someone else lead. I always prefer to be adventuring with others over solo! I'll keep my eye out for the next social.

Hey hey fellow Lovelander!! I'd love to connect with you as it's always a haul from NoCo. I'll be pretty 13er focused in the warmer months (I am really wanting folks with good rap skills for Teakettle too!)

I've finished them as of last year but am always up for another ascent of the more scrambly / technical 14ers. Happy to partner on any of the Crestone group / Elks. I'm also starting to work on winter 14ers so would be interested in partners for those. AIARE 1 certified but have limited experience in winter travel so I'd love to partner with someone with more experience there @Shippeenh

I'll probably be looking for a summer partner for Wilson - El Diente... thinking via the traverse. Send me a DM when you start planning dates? I also have N Maroon, Capitol, and Pyramid left.
