Crestone's 7/4
Anyone interested in climbing either of the Crestone's on July 4?
Gray’s’s Peak
Does anyone know if there is snow still left on Gray’s Mtn?
Quandary Peak Trip Report: First ever 14er
Left the car at 9:30 (long drive from Texas). There is a trail for the whole way, it was fun and beautiful. Though a little rocky for many places.
Above treeline it got really beautiful, though I could certainly feel that Colorado elevation. It was super windy up high, but not enough to stop me. I was blown away by the beauty of Quandary, I know I’ll be back next year!!

Is K2 really the toughest mountain to climb?
For those of you with 8000m experience: is K2 actually hard or is it just really expensive with a lot of hype surrounding it? I wonder if something like the Little Bear - Blanka traverse could be considered harder without the sherpas and fixed lines?

Bill, did something weird happen on this thread?
There are 5 posts, each with a different title, and apparently completely unrelated to each other.

Re: Found tent at snowmass lake
Sbenfield, Geckser, and Artburspiderman all have the same gear list and comparable peak list, and comprable ages. Who says they have 3 sets of crampons in their bags or even 3 crampons at all? Since Geckser claims to have done all the 14ers his post about a 1st 14er trip report from quandary makes even less sense. I assume it was one person with sock puppet accounts trolling my post, or the site has gone totally haywire.

I am game to climb NNE Mount Crestone July 4th. Were you thinking via the White Wall Gully route, jab4k2?
