4th of July Weekend Class 3/4

Post by Ericds84 »

Looking for partners to do something between Thurs-Sun next week. Most of my remaining 14ers are Class 3/4, and I'd rather not do them solo. I'd like to get something done over the earlier part of the 4th of July holiday, most likely on the 3rd or 4th, but possibly involving a late start on the 2nd if camping is involved. Shortlist includes Lindsey, Crestone Needle, or Kelso Ridge on Torreys. Would also like to find partners for tougher stuff on weekends throughout the remainder of the summer, with an eye towards those peaks, but also Wilson group, Pyramid/Maroon, Little Bear, etc. 41M, live in Denver, have AWD SUV, happy to carpool/share gas where appropriate.

Hey Eric, I was thinking about Kelso Ridge next weekend too. I'm up in Fort Collins. Let me know if you're interested!

Thinking about Lindsey on Sunday, 7/6.

Drive down and camp Saturday, 7/5; hike 7/6. Let me know if you're interested!

Might have another partner as well (looking at you @madmattd). But for real, why can't we tag people on here yet?!

I was thinking SW ridge of Little Bear 7/4, then Blanca/Ellingwood 7/5. I also need to do Wilson, Maroons, and the Needle so I'm game to plan for those later this summer

Thinking about doing Lindsey Friday or Sunday (could be convinced to do Saturday too I suppose) if you end up down there.
